Hi,
I˙m thinking of making a trip to dive the USS Oriskany.
I want to dive trimix (of course) and have searched the internet in vain
to find a dive shop that can arrange for technical divers to visit the wreck
and provide for trimix fills, double tank rentals and so on.
Can anybody help me?

Dive Pros (http://www.florida-divepros.com/) in Pensacola can handle all your breathing gas and equipment needs. They also handle charters for the Y-Knot which is one of the better boats in the area. Note that this may be a different vessel than the one that mndriver mentioned (Y-Knot vs. Y-Not). The Y-Knot is captained by Dave Mucci. It's a 29' Pro-Kat and one of the faster boats in the area. With five tech divers it may be a bit cramped. You'll have to decide that one. I know that Heather has taught extended range and/or trimix classes from his boat before so perhaps she can give you some more detail.
(Edit: You can see photos of the Y-Knot here (http://www.bluwateradventures.com/).)

This is from another board but from a source I trust (99% of all my cave dives are with Brian...) in Pensacola.

My post (quoted by Gene above) pretty well covers it. If you're intersted in trimix, best to contact Dive-Pros well in advance and let them know that's what you're interested in. Then they can be sure to have gas on hand for you.

We are diving the Oriskany in May with MBT Divers. They will blend whatever mix you want. No need to check ahead - they regularly stock helium ($.80 cu/ft).
