The old case concerning the sinking of S/S Energi in the fifties was about to be resolved acording to a swedish paper (Gävle Dagblad) in 2002. That was 4 years ago.
Is she found now?
(For those of you who havent heard about S/S Energi, she was a boat that suposedly had hit an old mine from the second world war, and she sunk with loss of life. 15 years later rumors circulated that she had been sunk deliberatly by some of the crew, using dynamite. A court was held and 2 people where found guilty of sinking her.. But since the wrek has not yet been found, acording to my knowledge, and some people still belive that it could have been a mine that sunk her.
There where lots of info about S/S Energi on the Björn Gustafsson wreck site, but i have lost the link to that site im afraid.
But there is a link to Gävle dagblad for those who read sweedish. Ill translate it later if there is interest in my poor translational skills.
