Hi all...

We have a plan to go to Norway for diving near Trondheim in June.

I seek all info about this place - www will be a great (in english please). Dive sites, botle fill stations, boats, dive centers and accomodation. I prefere to rent a house for 8 persons.

If someone has any info please send me an email or answer here.

If you need I can help you to organize wreck diving in Polish Baltic Sea.

Thanks for you answers

I live in Trondheim so probably I can help.

If you like to visit I´d recomend www.stokkoya.no (http://www.stokkoya.no) They have boats, compressor, cabins for rent, wrecks in the tech 1 and 2 range beatiful nature and one of the best fishrestaurants in Norway located right on the beach, check their picture gallery. It´s a 2 hour drive incl ferry from the city of Trondheim. Unfortunatley you need to blend your own gas, and bring helium and oxygen from the city. If you would like to dive the wrecks in tech 1 and 2 range, be prepared to discuss your experience and certifications with the operator. Also make sure to order the special dives as a requirement before you arrive, or else you might find your group mixed with other divers with less experience and/or desire to dive deep.

For recreational diving in the max 30 m range you will also find the island of Hitra very nice. (Better variation than stokkoya for rec diving) There are several operators that cater for divers. www.knutshaug.no (http://www.knutshaug.no)
www.hitra.com/splash.htm (http://www.hitra.com/splash.htm) (my favorite place)

Both these are really beatiful places with some of the best diving in Norway available just outside your rented cabin. Shellfish and crabs can be readibly picked and eaten, fish caught and eaten, and the tap water is both good and totally clean. Catching lobsters is forbidden by law, and you risk rather hefty fines and gear impoundment

Most places you use a rented boat and arrange your own diving and fills (the have a compressor, and might even offer nitrox if you preorder) At hitra.com you can also have a guide drive you in his rib or hardtop to divesites.
