D ring info

Can anyone impart any info on why a D ring on the right hand side behind the canister light is a safty problem. I tried the standard method with just one D ring on the left side harness belt, but when hunting, a stage bottle, lobster bag , fish ringer and a reel clipped on it's a cluster F&*^ hanging off one D ring, especially with gloves on:mad: . I figure I can hang the reel off the right side D ring , it hangs behind the canister light. It does not get in the way of the deployment of the long hose and is out of the slip stream.

If I plan on using it immediately upon descent I put my reel on a chest d-ring. If I'm stowing it semi-permanently, because I don't anticiapte using it anymore, I put it on my butt d-ring. I have no need for a right hip d-ring and hanging stuff all over you is not very streamlined
