Hi there!
Near to Safaga (Red Sea) you can find "young" wreck of a ferry.
not deep, not difficult, not small (115m  )...
...but still a wreck :)
What you think?

It looks fantastic! What is the depth? Are you running charters with Colona there?

Hello Ingemar!
Max depth 25m, many possibilities for penetration (we were there - 250m inside  ).
Yes - we organize - It would be better with two days mini safari  (one way 4,5 hours)...

Hey!
Was that the ferry that had many fatalities?
No. Al Kahfain sunk before this, which you're ask about.
It was intresting story... When the ferry started from Hurghada harbour, there was only the crew. Somehow the ferry started to burn, the crew was evacuated and ferry was moving on whithout the crew .
About 70-80km after the ferry had a "meeting with the reef" and sunk...
When the farry started to burn only one person died.

Hey guys,
Since business is so dam low this season, lets take a car to Safaga and hire a boat to go diving there and collect the NAV equipment!
25 meters will make for some real Looooooooongish dives.
If you don't have much work (like us) these days, let's try to get it going.
