14.6.1940 RUSSIAN bombers (2 db3 planes) shot down finnish passanger plane "kaleva" during the russians operating to isolate and capture of baltic states. the wreck havent been found yet, finnish coastal artillery unit reported an ellips shaped smoke in direction 166.5 degrees direct to ligthhouse of keri.
a patrts of an airplane hawe been seen 6km north of ligthouse of keri by WO3 E.juutilainen who started from helsinki to recon the area. there has been number of theories why the finnish ju52 was shot down but the aeroplane itself is still onfound.
the swedes did a remarcable job seacrhin their lost radarsp. plane dc3. the junkers52 cant be a much harder job for the proffessionals.
