Now, on this sunday, it's 50 years sins "Andrea Doria" laid to rest on the Atlantic bottom. Many divers have had the luxury to dive her, but not me!

Question: Is there any one you know who arrange diving on her? Maybe in the future I have the luck to prepare myself for a dive on "Andrea Doria"!?

Mid summer as far as I heard is when everyone sends their daughters out to find a first man. That is what they say in Africa.

The Andrea doria sounds like a real nice dive. Who knows, if planned far enough ahead, could be possible to get a bunch together to make it worth while.

The seeker is no more - she is up for sale and the Wahoo is now the Garloo. I am not sure if she will run to the Doria or not. The John Jack, Eagles Nest, Lockness, Sea Turtle are some of the boats that have planned trips this year.

I have not dove the wreck myself.

The Garloo IS still running Doria trips and will be departing on the 23rd from Montauk for the 50th Anniversary trip. There are actually a few spots available left on the boat if anyone is interested

We thought about diving the Doria next year and got in touch with Capt. Hank from "Garloo".

There are two trips planned in 2007: one in end of June and a second in beginning of July. We can not make it, to early to get some days off.

Later in the year the weather conditions are to bad...

Maybe one of you will be there...
