Sounder software - bathymetrical survey

Hi,

I am in need of a software for a bathymethrical survey. What i need to do is chart a channel that is projected to be dredged. I need to connect my laptop to my echo sounder and GPS and the software have to draw a bathymetrical map. It does not need to be that accurate. This is a low budget project and i do not expect to be payed much. Anyone have any ideas of where i can find such software, preferably public domain?

I have been made aware of http://www.drdepth.se/
It seems to be able to do the job. The price is very reasonable and it could have some uses for diving/wreck hunting as well. I will give it a try and report the results.
