I have been tracking rumors lately of a German WWII bomber that went down in a mountain lake in southern Norway, not too far from Arendal. The hype has it that is was a payplane (which I highly doubt), and that it also carried some crates of small arms.
Couldn't care less what it carried, really, but there might be a chance that this wreck is pretty well-preserved in the icy, O2-low mountain lakes in Norway. Is this rumor known to anybody else?
