Over the last couple of years, the SCRET (http://www.scret.org) organization has spawned off a somewhat strange side project with a larger group of people, called the Alki Plains Line Project. It really started out as an exercise project, where the gas divers of SCRET get a chance to get out conveniently on a very regular basis (at times a couple of times a week) to do some heavy task loading dives, in order to keep the skills sharp for the deeper wreck dives that our real mission is.

Since this has attracted the attention of other local divers, and we actually believe this is a really good way for a technical diving group to keep in shape and practice skills and at the same time provide a platform for newer diver striving to get into technical diving, we've just started publishing are proceedings on a website, http://www.aplponline.org.

I hope you'll enjoy this, and that it'll inspire other DIR groups around the world to also find new avenues of practicing their skills in new ways.
