Just want to share some pictures from my last Mexico trip. Mexico is a great place for diving. We stayed in Playa Del Carmen. The great thing about Mexico is that you get a tropical Holiday combined with awesome cave diving. Next time i am gonna bring a scooter though as the swims sure got long. You could go on forever when the average depth was 10-14m. In Florida most caves have an average depth of 25-30m and a lot more flow working against you.

I will see if i can dig up an old article about the blue holes in Bahamas later.

The caves are beautifully decorated, shallow, and going. The people are extremely friendly. The beaches are relaxing after a long day of cave diving. The dollar goes far. Hard not to love cave diving in Mexico :)

Nice pics, btw!

Ingemar, I have two old write-ups I did on the cave diving around northwestern Yucatan from the exploration project we ran in 1999. One went to dirQuest, but the other was sent out on smaller group mailing lists...I'll post it if I can dig it up...
